Kelly Clarkson should be arrested...

because she's killing me softly with her song. I usually don't fall for the whole "leaked" thing and wait until the cd is released in stores, but I couldn't help it this time. I was jonesing for some Clarkson and this was readily available, like a hooker and smack. I saw Clarkson at Mellon Arena in October, five rows back, and it kicked my ass so hard that I've yet to recover from it. I took videos of it and they were amazing. In one of the videos, Reba was staring at my camera because it has a light on it and we weren't supposed to have them at the concert,but I don't follow rules. While I think Reba is a nice person and I love her tv show, her face annoys me to no end and I hope that if Clarkson goes on tour again, it is just by herself. Getting back on track, because I could talk about Kelly Clarkson for an hour, I looked up the cd on youtube and casually listened to a few songs and wasn't that impressed, but you still could've knocked me over with a feather because she's better than 90% of other singers even with "crappy" material. Then I started to relisten to the songs several times, like 10 in two days, and it's absolutely brilliant. Every song is different and it's a perfect mix. I don't usually like dance music, but it's good shit. Of course, she's at her best with a ballad like "cry" which emotionally kills me, but the other stuff is awesome. I'm listening to it in my room in my apartment and getting my groove and it makes me instantly happy. I was listening to "All I Ever Wanted" with a big smile on my face like a jackass, jamming like a kid blasting music in their car, and I then realized that I need to get a life or stop riding the Clarkson train because it's eventually going to derail with a crappy album and it'll be devastating for me. For now, I'm going to rock some S&P, but eventually I'll be jamming with the Clarkson and loving every minute of it. Check out the video, around the 13 second mark, Reba starts eyeballing me and I'm not joking. I love that I managed to have Mandy Moore glare at me and Reba eyeball me in the past two years, I'm special.
